Thor: The Dark World is the sequel to Thor. Thor was written by Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Christopher Yost and produced by Kevin Feige and production companies such as Marvel studios, while Alan Taylor directed.
This film's budget was a $150 million. Earning $181 million in America and $449 million worldwide

Thor had been digitally re-mastered into the IMAX 3D format .
Visual effects had been used and supervised by Jake Morrison.

DISTRIBUTION
In March 2013, Marvel announced the release of a two-issue comic book prelude by writers Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost and artist Scot Eaton in June 2013. Marvel released the first trailer for Thor in April 2013. Then in July, Gameloft announced that a video game for mobiles called Thor the Dark World: The Official Game, is going to be released in together with the release of the film. In August another trailer was released as part of youtubes geek week campaign. More footage was later on released at Disneys D23 Expo.Inaddition Disney promoted the film by creating an attraction called,"Treasures of Asgard". later on Marvel released a teaser announcing that an episode of the television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,"The Well", will take happen in the aftermath of the events in Thor: The Dark World.

EXHIBITION
Thor: The Dark World is to be released world wide in Imax, Odean, Vue and cineworld cinemas. It premiered at the Odeon Leicester Square in London on October 22, 2013.
Thor's release dates are in the: UK,
Belgium, Finland, France, Slovenia, Ireland, South Korea, Philippines, Sweden and Indonesia on October 30th. Australia, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Hong Kong, Israel, Iceland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore and Taiwan on October 31st. Bulgaria, Brazil, Estonia, Mexico,
Norway, Russia, Turkey on the 1st of November. Chile, Georgia, Macedonia, Peru, Serbia and
Thailand on the 7th of November. Canada, India, Poland, Romania, USA and Vietnam
on November 8th.
Hungary, Jordan and Cambodia on
the 14th of November. Lithuania on November 15th. It is also to be
released in Italy on November 20th, Argentina and Greece on November
21st then in Japan on the 1st of February 2014.

The target audience for Thor are people who are interested in action movies, comic books and also teens.
