There had been major competition for the attention of the public as The Hunger Games: Catching fire, was released on the same week as In fear. This is a major issue as The Hunger Games had a lot of hype already from the previous movie therefore already had a major fan base simply waiting for the movie to come out, they in reality didn't really need much advertising as people had been on a look out for when it was to be released. This had caused In fear to become even less talked about, especially due to the fact it had a lower budget than The Hunger Games therefore having less effects, and definitely no CGI which would cause them to loose some possible viewers.
There had been use of online marketing as a trailer had been posted on YouTube and some other websites.
In Fear had been distributed by Bir Film in 2013 around Turkey, Ascot Elite Entertainment Group in Switzerland and StudioCanal worldwide in 2012.

From what if found it hasn’t won any awards yet but
the reviews of this film from IMDB suggest it’s a 5.1/10 and here they are
reviews about the film on its official poster:
The competition in terms of both In Fear and Thor : The Dark
World , releasing in the same week makes it hard for In Fear , which is low budgeted
compared to the Hollywood movies of Thor , this making In Fear less appealing
and gets less viewing and audience they want as people may be drawn to watching
a Big Budget film.
Although this film may not be distrusted and marketed as much as Thor: The Dark World, there are many articles about the process of filming and interviews with the stars and their experiences
Thor: The Dark World is the sequel to Thor. Thor was written by Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Christopher Yost and produced by Kevin Feige and production companies such as Marvel studios, while Alan Taylor directed.
This film's budget was a $150 million. Earning $181 million in America and $449 million worldwide
Thor had been digitally re-mastered into the IMAX 3D format .
Visual effects had been used and supervised by Jake Morrison.
It also had it's own soundtract which had been composed by Brian Tyler and Azam ali will be featured on it.
